About this project…
The client was looking to finish the basement to accommodate an entertainment space, full bathroom, bar area, laundry room and storage area. The ceilings were low, the floor was uneven with a lot of slope and the space was very cold in the winter.

What we did…
To improve the ceiling height, we adjusted the ductwork up into the joist spaces. After redoing all of the waste lines in the floor, we releveled a majority of the basement floor. After framing, closed-cell spray foam was added to all exterior walls. The basement layout was reconfigured to allow for a larger full bathroom and family room with a bar area.

Rustic wood treatment in bar area and tv wall. Bar area with sink, wine fridge and peninsula. Reading/sitting nook to hide access to main water shutoff. Floating vinyl floor. Storage under the stairs. Full bathroom with shower and glass door.
